RA1225FME is the new 2.40 m (8’) collinear VHF antenna with FME termination, designed to assure excellent performance in terms of quality, operation and design. Compared to the traditional antennas, whilst similar in shape, this antenna deeply differentiates itself due to two very important aspects:
• it has the FME termination for a very quick and more comfortable installation. Thanks to the FME termination, you will use the Glomex FME coaxial cables (code RA350), in different lengths, with a pre-installed professional, high quality and rugged FME connector that can be fitted on the antenna in a few seconds without soldering or cutting the cable;
• the inside finish and the rod features. Made of spiral copper wires inserted in brass tubes, this antenna assures a long-range communication and best radio performance. The tube is made of fibreglass with polished polyurethane finish and resistant to UV-rays and is reinforced by a double-layer (1,2 mm/0,05’.)
Moreover, RA1225FME is a vertical polarization antenna minimizing the effect of reflection on flat surfaces, always ensuring the best possible performance.
